If you have lost your pet, or would like to report that you have found someone's lost pet, call the St. Johns County Pet Center at 904-209-6190 or Animal Control at 209-0746. After making an official report, you should check with them frequently and visit in person. You may use our Poster Making tool on this page to create flyers to post in your neighborhood. We also suggest bringing a flyer to our facility and to the St. Johns County Facility so visitors have an opportunity to see your missing pet. Please complete the Lost and Found on-line registration form and click submit. Also, send a jpeg photo to adoptions@staughumane.org

If you have found a pet, it may have a microchip that can be scanned to identify its owner. Simply take the pet to the St. Augustine Humane Society, or the St. Johns County Pet Center, or to any local veterinarian. They will scan the pet at no charge to help find the owner.
